Avery Dennison has named Pascale Wautelet as its new global vice president, R&D for its Label and Graphic Materials (LGM) group, effective immediately.
Wautelet joined Avery Dennison in July 2017 as vice president, LGM for the EMEA region. She has more than 20 years of domestic and international experience across multiple functions in the chemical/petrochemical/plastic industry, including flexible packaging and labeling. Prior to joining Avery Dennison, she was global technology director at Jindal Films, overseeing corporate innovation and R&D across Europe and North America.
In her new role Wautelet will lead Avery Dennison LGM’s global R&D network, including oversight of seven regional R&D centers and teams. Along with a team of 300-plus scientists, she will continue to build the future pipeline of products and options.
She succeeds Hassan H. Rmaile, who was promoted earlier in the year.
Georges Gravanis, president, Avery Dennison LGM, said: ‘Pascale brings a strong track record of global R&D leadership and proven success in the commercialization of new technologies and products while enhancing overall profitability for the business.
‘She is a seasoned global innovation leader and has made significant impact in terms of pipeline, agility, and execution discipline since she joined us a year ago.’
